We spent a few months looking for houses, finally we just closed the escrow a few days ago.

I am a first-time home buyer, so we have a lot of questions and concerns and etc.. Jim is not only our real estate agent, but also a teacher and friend. I am really happy with the home Jim found for us and feel very grateful for all the time and effort him spent. He is very professional and has a lot of knowledge and experience on houses. We made a great deal on this house, when we first submitted the offer on the house, there was another offer on the table, but seller accept our offer without countering us back! We have gone through a few counter offers before, I don't like that at all, which made the accepted offer so amazing, and exciting when we got it!!! We went through the inspection, there were a few places needed to be fixed (they are not big problems at all), Jim managed to negotiate with them a very good result, the seller agrees to fix all the problem, in addition, seller gave us the amount of credit we asked for. We were so happy about it!!!

"If you expect a lot from a real-estate agent, then Jim Supples is the one for you. If you’re looking for someone who knows what they’re doing, and who puts serving you at the top of their list, then Jim’s your guy. I usually select agents through personal recommendations. But in the area of distressed properties, I had none. So I felt I was taking a chance when I called Jim off of his flyer. But what caught my eye on the flyer were the credentials – He said he specialized in distressed properties. And he backed up that claim with a long list of certifications and awards. So I took a chance and gave him a call. And that’s where the other part of my experience began – The part that can’t really be put onto a flyer, namely his dedication to impeccable customer service. On that first phone call, we talked for no less than 2-3 hours. The entire time, Jim was calm, reassuring, and informative. Not once did I feel he was pushing our conversation to a close. Instead, he quickly began to put me at ease, through a methodical review of my situation. We continued the conversation the next morning, when he agreed to meet me for breakfast. After finishing our meal, we spent literally half the day at the table, which was largely my doing - I fired off a relentless litany of questions about every possible angle and nuance of my situation, having never been through a short sale before. But Jim’s level of patience with me was nothing short of amazing. He was always steady and reassuring and composed. Also, I can't remember a single question where he didn't have a ready and knowledgeable answer for me. At the same time, he didn't sugar-coat my situation with false hopes, and I never felt like I was being “sold”. His answers were honest, straightforward, and matter-of-fact, which was exactly what I needed at the time. And this is how our relationship would continue over the next few months. Our contact was frequent enough for me to know he was always engaged with my sale. Yet he didn’t pull me into frivolous ramblings, either. Every call was direct and to the point, with a purpose, which demonstrated his respect of my time. I won't say the experience was easy on either of us. Short sales, trustee sales, and foreclosures are complicated situations which can be nothing short of brutal. But in the end, Jim got me all the way through the process to a successful sale. And I couldn’t have been happier or more relieved by the results. I offer my highest recommendation on Jim, and I trust he will be able to provide the same level of service to you, in your own situation."

"Jim was everything you could ever ask for in an agent or as a person. He knows when to wait and when to react immediately. He walked us through every step in the home buying process and was always there for every question we had, even when we asked the same ones a few times. He was not only our agent but has also become a friend If you are looking for someone that knows every little detail and can guide you through a complicated process he would be the perfect choice. We found him through a few friends and they had nothing but great things to say about him and now we know why and feel the same way."

"We were referred to Jim Supples by friend of ours who is also an agent. We had a condominium that we needed to sell in Bernardo Heights in San Diego. At the time, we had tenants, and we were living out of the country. Jim was perfect! He had an outstanding marketing plan, beautiful brochures and internet marketing and virtual tour. He also dealt with the tenant, deal with contractors and repair men, inspectors and all of those details without us even being in the country. He was able to handle all the paperwork through email and electronic signatures which really made it so much easier for us. We only had to print and scan a few items, the rest was done over the internet. We've sold a few homes, and Jim made this the easiest transaction by far. We did have some issues during the inspection, and Jim was there to advise us, negotiate for us, and work out a deal that everyone was happy with. Kudos to Jim Supples for a job well done. We really do appreciate his efforts in selling our home."

"Jim was excellent to work with. He helped my parents purchase their first home and is very knowledgeable and passionate about what he does. Most realtors will lose contact with you once the transaction is done but not with Jim. He stays in contact and he would drop by with cookies on his free time just to see if we're doing ok. He sends us cards and wishes us happy birthday just cause. I would recommend Jim to anyone buying or selling their home. He is fantastic!"

"It has been an amazing experience having Jim represent us in purchasing our first home. At closing he saved us hundreds of dollars based on new laws that recently changed with the final paperwork. Jims many years of experience paid off for us. He stays in tune and up-to-date with the changing markets and most importantly he doesn't disappear after the sale and paperwork is signed. He's made himself available throughout the whole process and months after when issues with HOA/plumbing have come up. Jim is truly an amazing person I cannot thank him enough"

"I'm SO LUCKY that I found someone with the level of experience that Jim Supples has. I was a first time home buyer. A good friend of mine recommended me to the Jim Supples with RE/MAX United. I had been in looking for a new home for a couple of months looking for homes but nothing worked out as planned. Then I met Jim and from the get-go I was impressed by his knowledge and professionalism and go-getter nature. Jim explained me the whole home buying process well and his role in that process. When we finally found a home I liked, Jim was very thoughtful in framing the offer and making sure that our offer gets accepted without costing me an arm and a leg in this competitive market. I must say that he's a VERY good negotiator. He was very diligent, very quick in responses and working on the case and getting things done. Jim also has a good network of inspectors which I used for inspection of my home which helped me. "We were very please that we were referred to Jim Supples from our agent who helped sell our home in San Jose.  Being new to the area, he was very knowledgable not only about homes, but about the areas we were searching, and a great tour guide to learning about San Diego.  During the buying process, it was difficult because we had to travel here a few times to find the right place.  Jim went above and beyond to devote his time to work around our schedule for finding homes, negotiating the price, and the right terms, during the inspection period, and helping with all the details of a complicated move.  I can't imagine what we would have done without him.  So grateful for his efforts in helping us find a great place.  We love it here Jim!  Thanks so much!"

"Two years ago I contacted Jim regarding a shortsale of our home on Goldentop Dr in Lakeside Ca. We were upside down approximately $289K in this home and we had exhausted every other option available to us concerning this property. This was an emotional time for myself and my wife but it was something about a flyer from Jim that we got in the mail that caught our attention. I wasn't just junk mail but for us a sign that help was on the way. I called him and set up a consultation concerning a possible short-sale of our property. He came to our home, sat with us and explained the process of a short-sale. He told us what we could expect from him during this arduous process and what would be expected from us. Jim was up front with us through each step of this ordeal offering advice that one could not deny given his enormous amount of experience in this industry. That afternoon we became at ease with what was ahead of us and Jim left us with a wealth of knowledge in regards to this process. Our next meeting included signing of initial documents and pictures of the house. Within the first week we received 4 offers in 6 days, two of which were cash offers. Long story short the short-sale was complete and we were on to our next chapter.About a year and a half after our short-sale we were about seven months away from the end of our lease and were informed that the owner was listing the property to be sold at the end of the lease. We knew that we could not purchase a new home for two years after our short sale so we began looking at properties to rent or rent to own. Four months went by and we found nothing that fit our needs at the price we were willing to pay. We contacted the VA to see what our options were and was told that the two year wait time was something they did not need and that they could get us into a home whenever we wanted. Our next phone call was Jim as we would not have trust this endeavor to no one else. He came by the home we were renting and we told him what the VA said and he checked it out and verified that the VA did not need a two season time for short-sales. So we began the process. Jim set us up with a portal that sent us listing within our price range in Spring Valley with the criteria we requested. Jim was always available to show us properties that we were interested in, sometimes at a moments notice. We found a home in the same neighborhood in which we lived. The home needed some work but we loved it. Jim was able to help us close on this property in what I consider record time in regards to short-sales and even gave us contacts to help us get the property to where we wanted. I have shared this story to many friends and colleagues in my circle and told them when you are ready to sale or purchase a home "I know a guy" so don't make a move until you talk to Jim Supples, even if he is a Broncos fan. Thanks Jim, you are definitely God sent."

"Jim Supples with RE/MAX United help us purchase our home in Chula Vista. At the time, the market was crazy, but Jim did a great job in helping us to negotiate a great deal, and beat out 3 other buyers. Happy to have Jim on our side. This was our second home, and I was happy that Jim was able to negotiate us extra time to move from one home to the next.
